I have always been interested in both art and animals, and an interest in wild places was encouraged by my family. Combining these interests has invariably been a favourite past time.
I have been painting large portraits of exotic wildlife in acrylics and oils for several years now, and although my work has developed over this time, I hope I can only improve on what I have achieved.
I have recently graduated with a BSc majoring in Zoology and Ecology at Victoria University. I hope that I can reflect the knowledge I have gained in the paintings I produce.
As a nature loving New Zealander and passionate conservationist, currently residing in Wellington, the flora and fauna of Aotearoa New Zealand will always be particularly important to me. For this reason, I hope to produce more work in the future depicting our remarkable and in many cases, threatened, wildlife.
I now accept commission for pet portraits, and work primarily in pastel on velour paper or other media as requested.
